Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Decorate pastries using various techniques
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new pastry items

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working in a pastry kitchen or similar environment
- Knowledge of cake decorating, food production, and pastry techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools including knives
- Strong understanding of culinary techniques and food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting
- Formal culinary training or certification in pastry arts is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
