At Ana Bar and Eatery we are looking for energetic, passionate and professional Pizzaiolo to join our team. Our pizzaiolo also is committed to providing our guests with the best hospitality experience and serving exceptional pizzas made from wholesome ingredients sourced locally. Our Pizzaiolo is someone who has an unwavering commitment to cleanliness and upholding the DOH standards of cleanliness and food safety. The schedule for this position is very friendly as it is a single daily shift from 10 am to 7pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pizza station, reports anything outstanding to the Executive Chef
- Preps ingredients and makes pizzas according to the designated station’s prep list and menu, always following our recipe guidelines and par levels.
- Executes all kitchen orders promptly and according to specifications.
- Maintains and stocks designated stations, freezers, refrigerators and store rooms with food products daily; follows proper rotation system and notifies our executive chef of any discrepancies or shortages.
- Labels and dates all food products in storage and refrigeration areas appropriately.
- Cleans food preparation equipment and work areas according to health and safety guidelines; cleans counters or tables.
- Communicates with guests and staff in a professional manner, showing exceptional hospitality
- Maintains a professional and neat appearance at all times
This position reports to the Executive Chef.
Qualifications:
- Pizzaiolo experience of 2+ year is ideal
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work weekends and holidays.
