- Provide Combatant Craft Division (CCD) Naval Architect Support.
- Support CCD projects and naval architect drawing reviews, test and certification reports reviews, and potentially support PDITs and PDIRs.
- Inspect Marine equipment and machinery and draw up work requests and job specifications.
- Conduct environment, operational, or performance tests on marine machinery and equipment.
- Evaluate how boats perform during trials, both in the dock and at sea, and change designs as needed to make sure that standards are met.
- Lead teams from a variety of specialties to oversee testing prototypes.
