Fire Watch

Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Fire Watch. As a Fire Watch, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our work environment. This is an important position that requires attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular inspections of designated areas to identify potential fire hazards
- Monitor hot work activities to prevent fire incidents
- Maintain constant vigilance and promptly report any signs of fire or smoke
- Operate fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment when necessary
- Assist in emergency evacuation procedures and ensure all personnel are accounted for
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any safety concerns or incidents
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize the risk of fire hazards

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Fire Watch or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with fire prevention techniques and emergency response procedures is a plus
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

**Job Type**: Temporary

Pay: $24.08 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to Relocate:

- Bronx, NY 10455: Relocate before starting work (required)
