All four event spaces are located in the Crossroads Arts District of Downtown Kansas City. - Abbott Events strives to provide unique, timeless and luxurious event spaces for memorable moments in individual's lives. The space is ideal for weddings, corporate events and social events. The venues offer a wide-range of sizes from 50-300 seated guests._

**What you will be doing**:

- The Venue Manager Assistant will manage and execute events occurring within our Naperville location, including but not limited to:_
- Create meaningful relationships with clients, vendors, and staff members
- Customer focused leading to unique and exceptional client experiences
- Coordinate and assist in setting the events tables and chairs, as well as tear down
- Ensuring the correct bar package and event details are applied for each event
- Being the day of contact for Vendors
- Management of the bar staff and security
- Provide additional support as needed to clients and vendors

**We are looking for someone who is**:

- Self-directed with a positive attitude and high energy level
- Able to work independently and confidently
- Extremely strong communication and networking skills
- Detail oriented and has a knack for accuracy
- Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Able to lift 25 pounds or more
- Event experience preferred but not required
- Able to work weekends and some holidays. Weekday flexibility would be ideal as well.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
