Overview:
**About USS**

**PRIMARY PURPOSE**

The Fence Team Manager will have an opportunity to assemble and manage a new elite team of Fence Specialists dedicated to delivering excellent customer service through timely and accurate quoting, order entry, scheduling, and processing of fence related orders.

**Responsibilities**:
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Recruit, hire, train and develop Fence Specialists and/or their supervisors
- Provide day-to-day management to Fence Specialists and/or their supervisors, including managing work schedules to maintain required coverage, and handling payroll approvals
- Work with the Regional Services Leadership Team to develop team goals, business metrics, operating procedures, and departmental policies
- Perform quality assurance regarding employee customer service skills, technical accuracy, and conformity to operating procedures and departmental policies
- Identify issues and trends, develop workable solutions, and coach team members to ensure outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external customers
- Work across the organization, particularly with Sales and Operations, to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus regarding customer experience issues
- Own difficult-to-resolve issues regarding customer or cross-functional challenges, driving the conversation to conclusion and win-win solutions
- Report on team performance on a monthly and as-needed basis
- Perform other duties as assigned

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities.
