As a **Paint Prepper**, you will be responsible for reconditioning vehicles back to beauty, whether from a collision or for a refinish. You will work independently and as a team to finish projects in a productive manner. The Paint Prepper will take ownership of preparing vehicles for the paint booths by sanding, smoothing, and masking until full completion.
**Paint Prepper Job Duties**
- Assist painter in pre-paint blending needs.
- Work with paint team to assist in keeping vehicle on track for scheduled delivery time.
- Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare vehicles for painting.
- Disassemble/reassemble vehicles for paint prep process and completion
- Detail vehicles ready for delivery to customers
- Repair process will include inspection for flaws, dents, or imperfections, prewash, sanding, tapping, masking, and minor body repair with a high level of quality.
- Maintain, organize, and clean workspace, including changing of booth filters.
- Other Duties assigned by managers
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team setting and be receptive of constructive feedback

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
