**Position Overview**:
As an Electrical Estimator, with an emphasis in solar, battery storage and electric vehicle charging stations, you will play a vital role in our development, project management, and estimation processes. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and assisting in managing project coordination to ensure smooth execution. Your expertise in electrical systems, project planning, and cost estimation will contribute to the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze RFP’s, project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes for materials and services required for the project.
- Utilize estimation software and tools to streamline the bidding process and ensure precision in cost calculations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative solutions to improve project profitability.
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive bid proposals for electrical projects.
- Coordinate bid submissions and follow-up with clients to address any inquiries.
- Participate in RFP and potential customer job walks when required.
- Local travel to job sites required, company vehicle will be provided.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the electrical industry, preferably in the public contracting sector in California.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of CA Prevailing Wage requirements
- Proficiency in electrical estimation software and tools while utilizing the following cost estimation methods: Parametric, Analogous, and Vendor Bid Analysis
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
