Community Habilitation Worker

Self-Directed Staffing Services is a Third Party Independent Entity that seeks and hires staff for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

**Minimum Skills and Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with individuals who are developmentally disabled is preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 Ibs. Independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 Ibs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and must be willing to be able to provide transportation to person receiving services.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software

**Duties**:

- Provide physical and occupational therapy treatment under the oversight of a licensed physical and occupational therapist
- Provide physical assistance with all activities while providing services
- Provide advocacy in community settings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
