W. Silver Recycling, Inc., is one of the nation's leading metals recyclers, with a presence covering the Southwest United States and Mexico. W. Silver Recycling has been operating for over 100 years servicing the unique recycling by-product needs of manufacturers in the southwest United States and Mexico.

We are currently expanding into the Tucson, AZ area and are seeking a Foreman that will assist with the start-up of the operation and running of the facility. This position will be key in establishing our operational model and will need to roll up their sleeves in handling day to day needs.

**General Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to;**
- Initially will support start-up initiatives for the new facility; work with contractors and any other vendor as necessary
- Ability to travel to other sites for training and/or meetings as needed
- At the appropriate time, will hire and train staff
- Works with company leadership to establish the organizational model
- Ensures compliance with Federal, state and local safety laws and regulations, codes, rules and permits
- Hands-on; with equipment operation; Forklift, Sennebogen Material Handler, baler, or any other pertinent equipment
- Hands-on; receiving, work in progress, shipping, inventory and any other day to day needs
- Once fully operational:

- Responsible for safety compliance and operational effectiveness of the WSR facility
- Participates in the development, implementation, and enforcement of operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage roles, responsibilities and performance of direct reports:

- Work on a daily basis with other departments to ensure customer expectations are met. Resolves issues directly related to operations
- Oversee financial management and budget compliance
- Reviews and approves operational purchases to include vendor selection, pricing and terms. Manages vendor relations
- Oversee operations preparation and participation in physical year-end inventory, cycle counts, semi-annual physical inventory, and inventory transfer reporting.
- Ensures Safety compliance including Storm Water regulations
- Special projects and/or other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Competencies**
- High School Diploma; further education a plus
- Minimum of at least 5+ years in a supervisory capacity within an industrial setting
- Experience with industrial equipment is desired
- Well organized; multi-tasking; time management
- Solution based

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
