Having been open for 25+ years, Harvard Cleaners is dedicated to providing the best possible dry cleaning to the community of Brookline and beyond. **As a dry cleaning presser at Harvard Cleaners, you will be joining a welcoming work environment with flexible hours.**
- Responsibilities:_
- Operate pressing equipment to press and finish garments
- Inspect garments for any stains, damages, or necessary repairs before pressing
- Follow proper pressing techniques and procedures to ensure high-quality results
- Press garments according to customer preferences and specifications
- Remove wrinkles and creases from garments using steam or dry cleaning methods
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to press different types of fabrics
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other tasks as needed
- Qualifications:_
**- Must have experience as a presser in a dry cleaning or laundry setting**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot stains, damages, or necessary repairs on garments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
