We are currently looking for a qualified Warehouse Lead for a Madison flooring company. This position will include the following responsibilities:
- Warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, sorting products, and preparing orders
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Keeping company vehicle fleet in safe operable conditions
- Ability to operate computer system for receiving and printing of needed documents
- Communicating effectively with coworkers, subcontractors and customers
- Supervising and scheduling delivery driver/warehouse assistant
- Picking up products from local vendors.
- Various occasional building and grounds related maintenance projects
- Delivering and unloading product at job sites when delivery driver is unavailable
Our standard work week is Monday through Friday, the typical hours are 6:30am-3:30pm with an hour lunch, though we are able to accommodate some flexibility here when needed.
Minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Full body mobility, with the capacity to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift 30-50 lbs at a time and occasionally more.
- Have a positive, friendly attitude.
- You will not need a CDL to operate our box truck but you will need to pass a DOT physical and previous experience driving larger vehicles is a plus.
- Forklift experience is necessary.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
