**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Medical Assistant / Front Office Assistant will work under supervision with oversight from the Clinical Director/Administrator & Business Office Manager. Front and back office duties as assigned by management.

Assists medical providers-and maintains a clean & safe environment in accordance with the practice policies and procedure.

Patient pre-op admission to include vital signs and transporting patient from unit during discharge.

Great communicator able to deal tactfully and professional with patients, families, staff, and physicians.

Operates telephone system including receiving incoming calls, taking messages, identify nature of business and call

Performs clerical duties including distribution of mail and messages, mailing Post Op letters to patients

Assist with chart preparation (preparation of medical consents for each chart prepare, labeling necessary documents and adding physician orders) and front office duties as needed for coverage

Assist with Registration, check in pre-op patients, Scanning chart documents through EMR

Communication with Pre-Op nursing staff.

**Required Skills**: Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
- Minimum 1 year experience in Medical Office
- High School Diploma or equivalent
