**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fabric Cutting**:

- Operate fabric cutting tables and related equipment to cut materials according to specifications.
- Measure and mark fabric accurately based on project requirements.
- Handle and store fabric rolls safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized cutting area.
- **Sewing**:

- Sew fabric pieces together using industrial sewing machines.
- Follow patterns and templates to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform finishing tasks such as hemming, binding, and reinforcing seams.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of finished products.
- **Assembly**:

- Assemble fabric components with metal or other hardware to create finished awnings and canopies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of all sewn and assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and report any defects or issues to the Production Manager.
- **Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and cutting equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a seamstress or fabric cutter, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and fabric cutting equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns, templates, and project specifications.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to lift and handle fabric rolls and finished products as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the awning or canopy industry.
- Knowledge of various types of fabrics and their properties.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position with standard working hours.
- Overtime may be required during peak seasons.
- Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and repetitive tasks.
