**Overview**:
The Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets is seeking a motivated and passionate Compliance Policy & Enforcement Manager to join our team. The position is charged with providing support for all six divisions within the Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets with a primary focus on the three regulatory divisions.

- Administration
- Agricultural Development
- Agricultural Water Quality (Regulatory)
- Food Safety and Consumer Protection (Regulatory)
- Public Health & Agricultural Resource Management (Regulatory)
- Vermont Agriculture and Environmental Laboratory

The Agency is comprised of roughly 150 employees and numerous rules, permits, and licenses. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate and consistent management of enforcement cases and ensuring enforcement policies are applied consistency across divisions.

Work is primarily office-based, but intermittent in-state travel is required for meeting and training attendance, client support, and other related duties. Work is performed under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer. The duty stations for this position are located in Montpelier and Williston with hybrid/telework options available.

**Environmental Factors**:
Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting with occasional field visits.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
High School diploma or equivalent AND six (6) years or more of experience performing and supervising (directly or indirectly) regulatory functions for a moderate sized office, department, or agency.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in criminal justice, environmental conservation, agriculture, or a related field.
