Quality Control Technician of Concrete

Houston, United States BRM Concrete Full time

Act as onsite representative during concrete pours at job sites.

Uses a variety of instruments and calculations to determine conformity. Performs various tests to make certain that samples meet required standards.

Records, analyzes, certifies, and prepares summaries of findings.

Maintains records of test results using database.

Designs and recommends mixes to be used for various projects.

Reviews, interprets project concrete specifications, and prepares mix design submittals.

Assists with customer service issues as required.

Troubleshoots to determine reason for problem or complaint.

Collect and transport samples from plant to laboratory as required.

Provides leadership and/or guidance to less experienced Tech QC on more complex assignments.

Maintain a clean and safe QC lab

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.63 - $25.00 per hour
