**Duties**:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient medical histories and record vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Provide patient education and instructions for at-home care
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with X-ray technology is a plus
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to patients. Your duties will include assisting healthcare professionals with examinations, taking patient histories, administering medications, performing basic laboratory tests, and managing medical records. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems is required, and familiarity with X-ray technology is a plus. If you are passionate about helping others and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to have you join our team as a Medical Assistant.
Position requires to travel between our Goodyear office (149th and Indian school) and our PHX office throughout the week.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
