**SUMMARY OF POSITION**:
The Radiology Scheduler initiates the revenue cycle process for routine and complex outpatient radiological appointments including but not limited to: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Mammography. The incumbent is responsible for scheduling and/or coordinating all components of a radiological study which includes the modality, contrast, anesthesia, and follow up clinic visits. Accurate scheduling ensures delivery of ordered clinical care, optimal reimbursement, mínimal denials and a positive patient financial experience.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year relevant experience Six (6) months of customer service experience

- Medical health insurance knowledge
- Medical terminology
- Revenue Cycle experience
- Associates or higher degree
- Computer Skills
