Summary of Position: As an External Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security across our New London facility. Your primary responsibility will be to man the security gate and conduct periodic rounds, ensuring that all areas, and assets are properly locked and secure_d_.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patrol predetermined routes and check securement
- Monitor and promptly report any unsecured areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- _ Must have, or have the ability to obtain a TWIC Card._ (_Transportation Worker Identification Credential)_
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime during weekdays or weekends.
- Proficient in oral and written communication.
- Ability to read, and write effectively.
- Familiarity with security practices.
- Resourcefulness, organization, and dependability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- _ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods._
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug/physical screenings.

Education and Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
