We're a mobile dog walking, daycare and training company which means we hike 4-6 dogs at a time and meet in various locations for our walk.We also have a property for dogs to play off leash up in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We're look for someone who is punctual, a morning person and enjoys being social with coworkers. We are an outgoing team and have a positive work environment. We do not **just play with puppies all day.** We take our jobs seriously but do it with laughter

On the trails, we are refining our client's leash manners and engaging them mentally and physically. While experience with dogs is not a requirement, it is a plus If you do not have dog industry experience, we will provide training to ensure you are confident out in the "field". We will teach you about dog walking, dog training and behavior. We're looking for someone who is coachable and open to constructive criticism to ensure the pups are given consistency with their training. We are also big on communication as we are a collaborative crew.. The most important thing you bring to the table is a positive and engaged vibe. As a team, we show up to work with good spirits and work really hard (even during inclement weather like rain or heat).

The position will begin at roughly 20 hours per week at $17 per hour. The days we currently need help with are Mondays
- Fridays from 9am-130pm. After three months, your pay will be increased to $18 per hour. This is very much a part time position. If you are looking for a job for financial reasons only, this is not the position for you. As we continue to grow, we can possibly increase your hours. You will not be required to work on weekends or holidays.

**What your day will look like**:Between 9&10am we pick up all dogs in your vehicle. Your vehicle must be larger than a sedan. From 10-12pm, you will meet up with the team and walk in a location with the pack. From 12-130pm, you will drop off client dog back at their house.

At the end of the day, we do send a service report detailing the day our client dogs had. This will be done through an app on your smart phone. Bonus points if you are social media savvy.

The schedule we are looking to fill:
Monday-Friday 9-130pm

After three months, your pay will be increased. This part time position is excellent for someone who is compassionate about dogs and social with their human counterparts. Your car MUST be larger than a sedan (ie small suv, suv, van or subaru). You will be compensated for your mileage.

**Requirements**:

- Be able to pass background check
- Owner of a smart phone
- Own a car larger than a sedan with the ability to fit 4-6 dogs comfortably with a clean driving record
- CA drivers license and insurance
- Love and understanding of dogs (experience is ideal)
- The ability to bond and gain trust of both human and dog clients
- Phone photography skills are a plus (especially social media)
- Ability to commit to the position for at least a year
