**Responsibilities**:

- Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards
- Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
- Prepare any necessary learning materials
- Assist with creating props
- Assist with creating art displays
- Document students’ learning progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
- Work with students for presentations/live performances

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher and state teaching certification is a plus that is not necessary
- Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferred
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass background check
- Must pass TB test
