Position Overview

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for technical writing of reports, patents and grants
- Stay abreast of the state of the art in the battery industry
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- PhD or equivalent in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering or related field
- 5+ years of post-graduate work in the battery industry, with preference for startups
- Direct experience working on battery cells and battery cell materials
- Creative thinker and strong a faculty for learning
- Ability to advance multiple projects in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment
- Verifiable track record of discovery and development in next-generation Lithium-ion batteries
- Deep knowledge of fundamental electrochemistry and understanding of critical battery tradeoffs
- Strong and verifiable written/verbal communication skills
- Must show leadership skills

Job Location: Culver City, CA
- All hires are based upon completion and passage of a background check.

$ 115,000 (entry-level qualifications) to $150,000 (highly experienced) Hourly
This is the pay range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
