**Lab Technician**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Quality testing and verification of manufactured reagents, components, and kits.
- Operate semi-automated and automated equipment for use in testing.
- Accurately complete documentation using executed protocols.
- Assist as necessary for troubleshooting during quality testing and inspection.
- Assist with assembly/manufacturing/production of lateral flow components or tests.
- Set-up and stock work areas. Daily cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and laboratory space.
- Perform laboratory math calculations.
- Maintaining and updating training binder.
- Follow Good Manufacturing (GMP), Quality System Regulation (QSR), and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Bachelor of Science in life sciences and/or 2+ years of equivalent work experience.
- Fundamental Computer Skills.
- Attention to detail, strong communication (verbal and written) and teamwork skills.
- Ability to be productive and successful in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to effectively respond to change.
- Must be able to lift at least 35lbs unassisted.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Highly skilled with pipetting and general lab equipment. Work experience with lateral flow manufacturing and automated equipment is preferred.
- Good time-management skills with ability to work independently or within a team, while adhering to production timelines.
- Strong agility, engagement, self-motivation, and flexibility in every-day tasks.
- High standards of cleanliness, organization, and work ethic.

**Compensation**: Negotiable based on experience

Pay: From $43,000.00 per year
