Lighthouse Academy is a childcare center that provides quality care and education for children from six weeks to 11 years of age. We focus on the development of each child intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. We are looking for additional DCFS qualified teachers to join our team who can provide our students with a safe, loving and nurturing educational experience.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- As the lead teacher you would need to plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lesson plans and address ongoing developmental needs of students.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families and co-workers.
- Maintain a safe, healthy and clean environment.
- Professional collaboration with co-teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
- Positive enthusiastic attitude in any situation

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
