Tanker Driver

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tanker Driver to join our team. As a Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting liquid or hazardous materials to various locations. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong driving skills, and a commitment to safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a tanker truck to transport liquid or hazardous materials
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, such as a forklift or pump
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols

**Skills**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement
- Proven experience as a tanker driver or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of operating and maneuvering large vehicles, such as tractor-trailers
- Familiarity with dump trucks, flatbeds, or other types of freight vehicles is a plus
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is preferred
- Ability to follow directions and navigate routes efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
