**Job description**

There is a current need for skilled Millwrights in Rhode Island. The need is to provide skilled Union craftsmen in the Power Generation, Petrochemical, Conveyor, Food Processing, Agriculture, Petrochemical and Paper Mill industries. We are looking for those with conveyor, machinery, automation, alignment experience, maintenance experience, pump and motor experience, compressor experience, conveyor experience and rigging to join Millwright local 1121.

**About UBC Millwrights**:
UBC Millwrights are seeking experienced Journeyman Millwrights (5+ years’ experience) and Apprentices (1 years' experience) to join Local# 1121. If you are an experienced Millwright in the field of machine and conveyor installation, rigging, alignment, laser alignment, compressors, blueprint reading, welding, and torch cutting or you are just starting out, this is your chance to advance your career.

**Requirements**:
As a Millwright you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various types of industrial and commercial machinery, compressors, alignment of these components, and maintenance of associated components.

Pay: $20.00 - $37.00 per hour

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Millwright: 1 year (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
