Intact program is a contract the agency holds with DCFS and is a voluntary program for families. Families are referred due to a hotline call. The intact worker will be responsible for 10-13 families on their caseload. The intact worker will assess families in their homes for services they are in need of addressing factors that brought in a hotline call or any underlying issues that need to be addressed. Families are then referred to outside providers and resources by the intact worker. The worker is responsible for monitoring families progress in the needed services until closure.

Monitors assigned cases on a weekly basis. Provides linkages to services as needed.

Must be able to obtain/pass a child welfare license upon hire.
