Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing transportation logistics to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

**Duties**:

- Utilize GIS and transportation planning software to analyze routes and optimize delivery schedules
- Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accurate data entry
- Communicate with drivers, providing them with clear instructions and updates on delivery assignments
- Monitor driver progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs and delivery reports
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when interacting with customers and drivers
- Assist with fleet management, including vehicle maintenance scheduling and fuel tracking

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in dispatching or logistics coordination is preferred
- Proficient in data entry and computer systems, including Oracle Transportation Management or similar software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Ability to analyze information quickly and make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with fleet management practices is a plus

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
