We are seeking a talented and passionate Music Director to join our team. As a Music Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of music and vocals of our musical theatre program, including arranging music, conducting rehearsals, and leading performances. If you have a love for music and a desire to inspire others through your talent, we want to hear from you.

Duties
- Arrange music for our Fall Mainstage Show, taking into consideration the abilities and preferences of the performers
- Conduct rehearsals to ensure that all musicians are prepared and performing at their best
- Lead performances, providing guidance and direction to musicians
- Collaborate with other artistic staff members to create cohesive and engaging performances
- Provide feedback and guidance to musicians to help them improve their skills
- Collaborate with choreographers and dancers to create a cohesive show
- Coordinate with technical staff to ensure that sound equipment is properly set up and functioning

**Qualifications**:

- Strong background in music, with expertise in musical theatre preferred
- Experience in conducting musical ensembles or directing choirs
- Knowledge of a wide range of musical genres and styles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with other artistic staff members
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate musicians
- Experience in theater productions is a plus
- Experience working with children
- Public speaking skills are a plus

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
