**Duties**:

- You will demonstrate willingness to learn and to improve analytical and/or collection system skills including familiarization with assigned region, country, or discipline.
- You will develop innovative techniques to solve novel analytic problems.
- You will remain current on various missile systems technologies and components.
- You will prepare and produce routine reports, studies, and briefings that demonstrate analytical expertise for the Intelligence Community (IC) and other stakeholders.
- You will assist in integrating all-source intelligence data into the analysis process and define the performance, characteristics, and capabilities of foreign missile systems.
- You will evaluate, interpret, and integrate all-source intelligence and open source information and/or independently evaluate collection system solutions in support of the intelligence production process.
- You will prepare and/or coordinate collection requirements, evaluate reporting from collectors in response to requirements, and provide guidance/feedback to field elements that support analytical efforts.
- You will conduct effective liaison and coordination within Navy, Theater, Department of Defense (DoD), other intelligence and other government organizations, and with foreign counterparts.

**Qualifications**:

- In addition to the **Basic Requirements** for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Resolve complex technical challenges related to software engineering tasks, e.g., software development, software testing, and system engineering;

To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.

1. **_Professional registration or licensure_** - Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT)1, or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
