This position functions as a Laborer for the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), responsible for coordinating and assisting with general labor and maintenance activities for the Facilities and Operations Section in the Kalamazoo, Jackson, and Warren locations. The duties include but are not limited to: serving as an on-site liaison for facilities and operations functions, schedule and coordinate vehicle repairs, perform minor building maintenance, operate various manual and power tools, load, unload, and move supplies, snow removal, lawn maintenance, keeping the grounds and parking lots clean, perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on motor vehicles and equipment, keep vehicles and equipment clean, and related work as assigned.
