Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. Your expertise in medical coding, terminology, and billing systems will be essential in maintaining financial records and facilitating efficient reimbursement processes.

**Duties**:

- Review and verify patient information, medical records, and insurance details
- Accurately assign medical codes (ICD-9, ICD-10) to diagnoses and procedures
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes
- Assist patients with questions or concerns regarding their medical bills
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in coding systems

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures
- Familiarity with medical records management and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Proficient in using billing software and other relevant tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
