**Position Overview**:
In addition to professional duties as a regularly scheduled registered nurse in the Emergency Department, the Trauma Coordinator/Paramedic Liaison Nurse (TC/PLN) provides leadership for the clinical nursing staff in the delivery of trauma services to all trauma patients received at Hi-Desert Medical Center. The TC/PLN coordinates clinical activities, education and performance improvement activities under the guidance of the Trauma Medical Director and the ED Nursing Director.
**Position Requirements**:
The TC/PLN is a registered nurse with educational preparation and clinical experience in the care of adult and pediatric trauma patients.
Must be TNCC, ATCN or similarly certified by a recognized trauma training course.
The TC/PLN must have a demonstrated interest in the treatment of traumatic injuries and shall possess the administrative skills necessary to fulfill the role demands of this position.
The TC/PLN must be currently certified with the Count of San Bernardino as a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) with at least one year experience in a San Bernardino County facility.
**Pay Range**: $101,920 - $160,160
**Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience **Calculated based on a full time position
