Mobile Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in private residences and other various locations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient collection of blood specimens while providing exceptional patient care.

**Duties**:

- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
- Follow established laboratory procedures and techniques to ensure accurate sample collection
- Maintain proper documentation of all collected samples
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Provide excellent patient service by ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Transport collected samples to the laboratory for analysis
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy equipment and work area
- Process specimens for shipping

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program
- Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and laboratory procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately label and document specimens
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in various settings
