**Position Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**

**COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY**

Prepare all worship service materials, including weekly announcements, bulletins, and service inserts

Create and distribute the weekly online newsletter and other Constant Contact electronic publications

Prepare special materials as requested for weddings, funerals, and special events

Create posters and flyers as requested

Prepare, produce, and distribute the Parish Annual Report

Prepare and submit the annual Parochial Report and Diocesan Convention filing

Manage the parish membership database - adding newcomers, making updates, and creating reports as requested

Maintain and update the Grace Church website, social media accounts, and online calendar

**OFFICE AND HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT**

Liaise with diocesan offices for payroll processing, and maintain human resource files

Process/track bill and invoice payments

**FACILITIES ADMINISTRATION**

Maintain the parish calendar, including all aspects of space usage (events, meetings, rentals, etc.)

Coordinate needed repairs and maintenance with contractors and staff

Coordinate rentals with outside groups

Address needs and concerns of tenants of parish properties

Oversee the appropriate usage of building spaces

**Qualifications and/or Experience**:
Three to five (3-5) or more years of experience in an office environment, preferably as the sole provider of administrative support

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy

Strong working knowledge of standard office software, including G-Suite, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel), Canva, as well as a willingness to learn specialized church membership and accounting software

Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people and organizations, including other churches, social service agencies, funeral homes, visitors in need of assistance, etc.

Able to use and troubleshoot standard office equipment, including telephones, answering machines, computers, printers, and photocopiers

Able to independently track short, medium, and long-term tasks

Able to keep detailed records, maintain organized files, and prepare correspondence

**Working Conditions**:
Must be capable of occasionally lifting supplies weighing up to 25 pounds

Must be able to climb and descend stairs

**Work Schedule**:
Monday-Friday. Exact hours to be determined in collaboration with the Rector.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
