- Perform small scale purification studies to support manufacturing processes.
- Preparation and operation of chromatography systems for small scale purification experiments.
- Perform basic laboratory support work such as preparation of solutions, sample submission, and equipment calibration.
- Statistically analyze and review large data sets and draft technical reports to support studies.
- Collaborate on a small team to come up with new ideas and innovative solutions.
- Take lead on executing the purification of projects and perform project management duties.
- Coordinate with a broader scientific team to align on lab activities and processes.
- Comply with all GxP standards, GHS policies, and current written procedures and protocols.
- Present on technical topics during cross functional meetings.
- Work in a fast-paced lab environment.
- Balance multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and execute them independently, while communicating with all impacted parties.

**Leadership responsibilities**
- Supports and monitors performance of team of analysts, including coordination of work assignments.
- Participate in new hire interviews.
- Supports the on-boarding process of new employees.
- Participates in training of other employees.
- Executes performance reviews and delivers feedback to employees.
- Ensures proper time management and workload requirements of team are met.
- Engages in leadership development trainings.

**Qualifications** Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative team environment.
- Can take on new and sometimes ambiguous challenges, learning quickly.
- Experience with Microsoft suite (word, excel, powerpoint).
- Experience in a lab environment.
- Basic understanding of chromatography processes.

**Must have a BS/BA in life sciences/engineering or related field.**
