**PRN to cover leaves, vacations**

**Hours most needed M-Th 3 pm - 5 pm or 6:30 am - 3:00 pm M-F**

Brook Lane Health Services, a leading provider of mental health treatment and education in the region, is hiring a PRN, as needed Receptionist to work in our Main Campus Outpatient program.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Answer telephone calls transferred from admin receptionist and sends calls to appropriate support staff
- Complete new patient paperwork with the patient as needed
- Check-in & activate patients in the electronic health record
- Collect co-pays
- Balance out end of the day transactions
- Confirm appointments for next day
- Distribute Patient Satisfaction surveys to patients quarterly
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year experience working in a medical office receptionist role is preferred.
- Intermediate technology skills required
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
