**TECHNICAL DESIGNER / PRODUCT DEVELOPER - HYBRID - PART-TIME OR FREELANCE**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed tech packs inclusive of bill of materials, construction/make details and graded size specifications.
- Spec garments throughout the development process to achieve desired fit, construction, quality and design intent.
- Participate in fit sessions by fitting samples on live model, record comments and implement updates to tech packs and size specs as needed.
- Prepare sample comments and relay to domestic and import vendors.
- Collaborate with pattern maker to determine grading and create final graded spec.
- Track development samples, working within the development calendars to ensure deadlines are met.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications**:

- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in apparel manufacturing, product development, apparel design or related field preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Technical Designer, Garment Tech or Product Developer.
- Must have advance knowledge of garment construction, patterns and specifications.
- Must have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to multi-task numerous developments on different calendars, and prioritize workload accordingly.
- Must have high level of attention to detail and proactively problem solve.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel and Word.

**Job type**:

- Hybrid work hours: must be available to come into the office for key fit sessions, and to collect reference samples and development samples as needed.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
