Geriatric Psychotherapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team. As a Psychotherapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various mental health issues. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support clients in their journey towards improved mental well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of psychotherapy
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed
- Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies to manage their mental health symptoms
- Conduct regular progress reviews to assess the effectiveness of treatment interventions

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Current licensure as a Psychotherapist or eligibility for licensure
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic coding (ICD-9)
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and providing behavioral therapy is preferred
- Familiarity with gender issues counseling and trauma-informed care for individuals with PTSD is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting

Pay: $40.00 - $56.80 per hour
