Dog Groomer

**Job Summary**:
**Essential Job Functions**:

- Complete superior grooms e.g., bathing, brushing, blow-drying, dematting, cutting or trimming hair/fur, gland expression, teeth brushing, nail clipping and grinding, and other specialty services.
- Provide excellent and neat grooming care for all dogs
- Provide safety at all times for dogs being groomed
- Be attentive to dog’s needs
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Maintain a clean and organized shared grooming area.
- Conduct all work in accordance with company policies and procedures ensuring the safety and well-being of each animal.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ year’s professional grooming experience.
- Reliable and dependable. Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Strong work ethic. Sets high standards for self and others.
- Can work cooperatively in a team setting.
- Passionate about animal welfare. Treats all animals with compassion and kindness.
- Comfortable interacting with all dog breeds; large and small.

License/Certification:

- Pet Grooming Certificate (preferred)
