Substance Abuse Counselor

Part-time, on-call, and telehealth substance abuse counselor: Must be certified with an agency approved by the State of California, Department of Health Care Services, and able to:

- Lead interactive and non-judgmental group discussions in a constructive environment.
- Provide educational information about alcohol and other drugs, including health problems and their effect on the individual, family, society, and the legal system.
- Competently complete charting and documentation requirements.
- Discuss DUI rules and regulations as mandated by Title 9 and the County of Riverside.
- Discuss group and education topics providing accurate, non-biased information on each topic including addiction.
- Conduct individual sessions affording clients to discuss program status and concerns, treatment, and other outside factors.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Addiction counseling: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Spanish and English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Registration/certification with CCAPP or CADPT (required)
