United Protective Services is looking for a full time Overnight Security Officer.

**Job Duties**
- Immediate response to open shift coverage when dispatched by the management team.
- Knowledge of all local vertical markets to include:

- Engage in conflict resolution on site.
- Assists client with duties as assigned.
- Aids in maintaining an orderly workplace.
- Trains new personnel on the proper procedures and policies under direction of management.
- Makes decisions regarding the safety & security of the site with the aid of United Protective Services post orders.
- Maintains daily activity logs in accordance to post orders.
- Creates incident reports for unique incidents on site.
- Observes and reports all suspicious activity in accordance with post orders.
- Ensures all United Protective Services equipment is well maintained and accounted for before, during and after each shift.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work outside in the elements.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Superior customer service skills are required
- Must be able to engage in conversation with clients, customers and vendors.
