Surgical Scheduler

**About us**

Aesthetic Center at Woodholme is an outpatient medical facility.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduler. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical office. This position requires knowledge of medical scheduling, office procedures, and excellent communication skills.

**Duties**:

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure proper scheduling and availability
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures
- Assist with medical billing and coding as needed
- Collaborate with other office staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Strong knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
