Masonry Laborer

The Landscape Construction **Senior Team Member** is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks (generally physical labor) in order to assist with the completion of landscape construction projects.

**Job Duties**
- Work independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
- Operate various tools and equipment, including: general masonry tools, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
- Assist in the construction of walkways, stone walls, fences, decks, posts, etc.
- Work with stone, brick, pavers, veneer, concrete and more to complete hardscape and masonry projects
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete
- Dig ditches and/or trenches
- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, etc.
- Assist your crew with any job-related tasks
- Assist in cleaning up a jobsite at the end of every work day
- Ensure that you follow all safety and PPE regulations as well as company policies and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the landscape/construction industry; stone masonry, foundation walls, decorative and general masonry
- Capable of operating equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Has excellent stamina and able to work in various outdoor conditions
- Valid driver’s license a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Masonry: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
