Alite Associated Schools is here for you We are currently hiring **Substitute Teachers, Assistants, and Ongoing-Lead Teachers** for our associated schools in the **areas of Gardena, South Los Angeles, **and surrounding areas **for the current 2023-2024 school year and upcoming 2024-2025 school year.**

Individuals with little to no experience or no units are welcome to apply; However, experience in Childcare or a Preschool setting is a **PLUS.**

** ALL pre-screening Questions MUST be answered, or applicant will be disqualified.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provides support in the classroom/outdoor play to ensure a safe and educational environment.
- Assists the classroom in maintaining the hygiene and personal needs of the children.
- Assists with weekly planning and implementation of daily educational activities for children.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials.
- Assist in sanitizing and maintaining a clean environment.
- Makes observations (written and/or verbal notations) of the children.
- Supports the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of each child.
- Maintains good communication with parents and co-workers.
- **Takes advantage of all educational opportunities for professional growth.**

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
- Must be flexible and able to work well with a diverse group of people

**Qualifications**:

- **No experience required.**:

- Experience in Head Start, Montessori, or Childcare Center **(preferred)**.
- **Minimum 6-12 units** in Child Development/Early Childhood or related field.
- A.A. or B.A. in Child Development or Early Childhood or Related Field **(required).**:

- Associate Teacher Permit **(preferred).**

**Requirements**:

- Must have open availability (Monday to Friday **FULL TIME**).
- Part-time
- must be available at least **3 FULL DAYS **NO HALF DAYS.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
