**POSITION TITLE**:Shipping
- Service Area

**PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION**:Position is responsible for assembling, labeling, and packing service parts/components.

**BACKGROUND REQUIRED**:

- Should have good reading, writing, communication, and math skills
- High School or GED

**SPECIAL SKILLS**:

- Ability to assemble, pack and prepare to ship many different part types efficiently, safely and with high quality.
- Ability to learn and maintain multiple work instructions for part assembly (more than 50 part numbers)
- Ability to obtain HILO License.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must have ability to coordinate and complete all service paperwork.
- Must be able to make up boxes for all shipments.
- Must be familiar with all service parts and packing/labeling instructions.
- Must order and maintain service label and supply inventories.
- Print shipping label for finished goods.
- Must communicate effectively with Production & Shipping Supervisor regarding service parts and shipments.
- Ability to inspect product visually.
- Ability to handle shipping paperwork.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn both internal and customer part numbers and warehouse locations.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
- Follow standardized work instructions
- Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
- Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to production, inventory, scrap/defective part sheets and downtime
- Willing to participate in inventory processes monthly /daily for the plant and service components
- Make/divide labels as needed
- Ability to understand and fill out the service needs list weekly
- Communication of quality issues to management.
- Ability to train others as needed
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.07 per hour
