Boat Painter

**Overview**: Ocean House Marina (OHM) is a full-service marina specializing in marine recreation, sales, and service, serving the coastal community of southern New England. OHM provides the highest quality of service to customers by upholding a high degree of professionalism, honesty, and integrity. OHM is seeking a fulltime Bottom Painter/Boat Detailer to join their service team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete assigned work as efficiently and adequately as possible
- Prepare boat bottoms by scraping, sanding, grinding, and cleaning
- Clean, buff, polish, and wax boat interiors and exteriors in preparation of delivery to customer and prior to winter storage
- Keep workspace clean and organized at all times

**Qualifications and Expertise**:

- Bottom painting and/or boat detailing experience preferred but not required
- High attention to detail, precision, and accuracy
- Know how to work safely in a shop environment, maintain a clean work environment and adhere to required safety policies
- Must be able to get along with others
- Good health and physical mobility

**Typical Hours**:

- 7AM-4PM, Monday through Friday with option to work Saturdays

**This Job Is**:

- Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
- A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more
- A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience or education

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
