Tesol/special Education Instructor

Blue Sea Educational Consulting Inc. is currently seeking **Home Instructors **with a **NYS ESL and/or TESOL Certification**. Home Instruction Teachers are responsible for providing instruction to students based on their Individualized Educational Plan.

**Education and Experience**:

- Must have a NYS ESL and/or TESOL Certification
- Thorough knowledge of students who have divergent learning, mental, emotional or physical abilities
- Demonstrate instruction which is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of diverse learners
- Developing and adapting individualized teaching methods that are suitable for each student according to their IEP

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate student’s strengths and weaknesses to facilitate instruction which target the goals from the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
- Schedule, provide and plan special education services for children through a variety of educational techniques and materials
- Record and report on student progress, and update goals annually
- Prepare progress reports and IEPs in a timely fashion
- Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
