Trailer Spotter

**Your Role**:If you’re looking for a trucking career that will keep you local and guarantee daily home time, hop in the driver’s seat as a Dot Foods trailer spotter. Get your daily fix behind the wheel without sacrificing a single night’s sleep in your own bed.
- Safely and efficiently move trailers throughout the truck yard
- Weigh loaded trailers
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on spotter tractors
- Wash trailers as needed
- Perform lot and/or yard checks

**ROLE SPECIFICS**
- You’ll be working indoors and outdoors throughout the year and will be exposed to harsh weather extremes. Shifts are generally 10 hours long for four days a week or 12 hours long for three days a week.

**YOU MUST HAVE**
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree.
- Ability to pass physical abilities test to meet standards of job
- Sufficient hearing and vision necessary to operate powered equipment safely
- Safe driving record

**YOU MAY ALSO HAVE**
- A commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Professional truck driving experience
