Machine Shop Inspector

**Machine Shop Inspector (QC)**

**Pay**: 20 - 22/hr

**Hours**: 12:00pm-8:30pm (8hr swing shift)

S&S Numerical is a leading aerospace company supplying our customers with the highest quality interior cabin assemblies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform in-process inspection on operators currently running part.
- Perform verification activities. (First Articles)
- Ensure tools are calibrated.
- Understand and comprehend all forms of technical documents including blueprints and drawings, written specifications, charts, tables, etc.
- Vendor part receiving inspection
- Log in QC related items into various files
- Work safely and as part of a high performing team.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Conformance to FOD policy
- Document work completed and maintain accurate records

**Requirements**:

- Works independently, follow instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Properly uses measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, indicators, etc.)
- Strong communication skills4
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office

**Experience**
- 1 year minimum experience as QC Inspector
- Experience working with low volume, high value parts
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish)
